On November 13th, Dongguan's first Wenchuang Development Summit Forum was held at the LOFT Creative Park on the 8th of the Workers and Peasants' Waterfront.
Dongguan Times and Zhongtian Creative Valley jointly hosted. How should the guests develop in Dongguan Wenchuang Industry? What mature experiences in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Taipei and other cities are worth learning from Dongguan? In this group of operators engaged in the cultural and creative industries in Dongguan, there are other links and other topics published their own insights.
How do professionals make a pulse for Dongguan Wenchuang? We have selected some guest opinions and let us hear what they say.
Tan Junbo (Deputy Director of Dongguan Newspaper Media Group, Editor-in-Chief of Dongguan Times): Wenchuang Industry appeared in Dongguan, which is a product of social and economic development to a certain stage. After experiencing rapid economic development in Dongguan, the whole city is trying. “Slow down” and “quiet down”, Wenchuang Garden with cultural precipitation has become a new direction in urban development. This transformation will also help Dongguan's manufacturing transformation and upgrading.
Li Zhiyong (editor of "Dongguan Economy"): Wenchuang is creating value, while manufacturing is realizing value, Wenchuang and manufacturing are open, and Wenchuang Garden has its existence value. Dongguan is considered to be a manufacturing city. Its demand for the cultural and creative industry is very concentrated. Good creativity and local industry can be combined to have vitality.
Hu Lei (Head of Art Department of Dongguan Wenguang New Bureau): There may only be one in Xiabafang. It is not wise to simply copy this model. At present, the operation of Xiabafang has been separated from the literary theme and gradually inclined to the bar catering industry. This change has deviated from the original intention of the creative people who originally operated the literary studio in Xiabafang, which is too commercialized. Instead of blindly following the trend, it is better to identify the market positioning and clarify the creative theme. Today, nostalgia becomes a new business opportunity, and we can launch a cultural and creative activity with nostalgic elements.
Fu Jiebei (Director of Operations of Shenzhen F518 Creative Culture Zone): Just starting in the cultural and entrepreneurial park, it must conform to the local cultural and industrial environment. It can be successful without copying. Many cultures in Shenzhen are done by industry associations. The industry associations take the lead in doing something, and the government must propose policy support.
Zhou Yuehua (a Taiwanese designer who has lived in Dongguan for ten years): When I came to Taiwan, I lived in the Eastern District of Taipei. I went to the Wenchuang Park not far from the left and right. Wenchuang has become a part of our lives. Life is the attitude that everyone has to pursue, and it is out of life. No matter how it is packaged, there is no life. Wenchuang is an innovative thinking, a manifestation of the attitudes and concepts of personal life, and it is only easy to push this into the hearts of the people.
